Meet Chris Tindall

Son of Robert A. Tindall Sr {Bob} and Sandra D. Tindall {Sandy} of Georgetown, SC – Brother to Robert A. Tindall Jr {Robbie}. I am a 4th generation from Georgetown now raising a 5th generation – My daughter Kensli {born May 1997}.

After attending Georgetown High school and taking drafting classes I graduated in 1988. I started attending Greenville Technical College the fallowing Fall where I studied Architectural Engineering.

My first job in the construction field came in 1991 as an assistant estimator for Palmetto Construction Group. I quickly worked my way up to project manager were I spent the next few years building Commercial projects over South Carolina. In 1994 after completing a project for Georgetown County, I was hired on by the County Administrator as a building inspector. I was promoted to Senior Building Inspector in 1996 after receiving several building inspector certificates. I spent the next few years inspecting Commercial Buildings and Residential Homes.

My divorce in 2000 prompted me to get back into construction as a project manager. I spent the next couple of years Building Hotels up and down the East coast. And in 2002, I started building amenity centers, entrances, and homes in developments in the Myrtle Beach area.

I met my wife Kim {a local from Conway, SC} in September 2001 and we married in June 2005. She added to my family, her daughter Haleigh. I now have two daughters and we all four live in Garden City, SC remaining close to our family and friends.

Finally after years of discussion and working for others I felt with my years of experience I would be a better asset as the owner of my on construction company which led to the start of OTD, Inc – Original Tindall Designs.

The difference between OTD, Inc and other builders:
We didn’t just decide to be a builder – we’ve earned our lumps in construction over the years.

My family has been a long time local and do not plan on leaving the area.

As my father once said to me “you come and leave this world with one thing – Your name – what you make of it while you’re here is up to you” —– OTD, Inc – Is a Good Name!
